The partitions of the University of Guam’s Isla Centre of the Arts are awash in the lively shades of island everyday living, as depicted in watercolor by the late Adriano Pangelinan.
“Aspiration in Colour” is an homage to the iconic artist and longtime UOG artwork professor that features 50 of his paintings, curated from the private collections of his loved ones and other people in the group, such as the Taitano and Arriola family members.
Much more than 100 devotees together with island dignitaries and artwork collectors of his perform showed up Tuesday night time for the opening of his retrospective show.
Coordinated by Benjamin J.F. Cruz, public auditor and retired chief justice, and Monica Guzman of the Galaide Group, the exhibit will be on show through Aug. 5.
