Belfast artist Maggie Wright exhibition at Signal Arts Centre

Signal Arts Centre will host an exhibition of is effective by Belfast artist Maggie Wright.

figurative and portrait artist, Maggie has been based mostly in Dublin for quite a few years. 

Her most recent exhibition ‘Dancing with a Bear’ opens in the Bray arts venue on Monday, May possibly 23 and carries on right up until Sunday, June 5.

Maggie’s get the job done is housed in equally community and personal collections and she has exhibited widely in the Royal Hibernian Academy, the Royal Ulster Academy, the Éigse Arts Festival and the Boyle Arts Festival.

A member of the Dublin Painting and Sketching Club, Wright has been drawing with the RHA self -directed drawing team because 2010. She has lengthy been intrigued by the interactions of all residing matters and believes that in a large amount of our waking hrs we are all engaged in a type of dance. This she believes to be a primal commonality shared by all of us across all cultures.

‘Dancing with the Bear’ attracts heavily on this perception and focuses on engagement and acceptance. The title was inspired by a piece of audio created by A.P.Kaczmarek for the movie ‘Finding Neverland’.
