Affected by her Scandinavian and Caribbean heritage, she research Graphic Structure and Illustration in Norway and returns to the Dominican Republic to study Wonderful Arts at the Altos de Chavón University of Design and style. In 1998 she receives the Bluhdorn Scholarship, and continues her scientific studies at Parsons The New University for Style and design in New York, graduating from Good Arts and Illustration in 2000. She begins her creative job as an illustrator for the manner and way of living sections of Obsidiana journal (New York).
