Teen business owner shot and killed outside of his Clayton county business


Clayton County Police are investigating a deadly taking pictures at a barbershop in Clayton County.

The target is 17-calendar year old Anthony ‘China’ McClain. He was a barber who co-owned the shop with his mother.

“Just standing outside the barber shop, and there was some commotion and a little something took place and a stray bullet, is what,” claimed LaShawn Hood, McClain’s cousin.

Hood recalled the minute an individual shot and killed McClain. “It has an effect on me a whole lot since my young children, they have been pretty close. Just getting a younger child, just becoming harmless and a part of the gun violence likely on in the city,” she reported.

For several hours, Clayton County Police blocked off the barbershop off River Station Blvd in Clayton County to investigate what caused the commotion outdoors the shop that killed McClain. Law enforcement reported he was caught in the crossfire. His family stated he was an harmless bystander.

His relatives explained McClain was at do the job, accomplishing what he beloved the most—cutting hair. “Anthony was a quite gifted baby. He was household-schooled, pretty handy with his mom, his grandparents and excelled at almost everything he did.”

Hood explained he showed that spirit of excellence at the barber store. “He was extremely active. He was in his 2nd year of school, he bought his barber license,” she explained.

He was working to own the shop with his mother. “It was a household company that they began jointly. They did anything from environment every thing up, undertaking floors, the pics on the partitions and just placing every little thing they had into a relatives small business,” mentioned Hood.

Now that aspiration is regrettably interrupted. They have this to say to his killer. “I just have to say that I desire you would turn yourself in. Young individuals, be sure to just place the guns down. There are other means to manage situations other than violence,” stated Hood.
