What’s Your Favorite U.S. National Park?

Over the past two many years, I’ve fallen in love with them.

Just before the pandemic, I had only visited a handful of them, mostly by incident. But the moment the pandemic hit, and it was harmless ample to road-vacation, I drove all all-around the region going to them.

Now I’ve observed 15 out of 63. And sometime, I’d like to see them all.

1st, there was Redwood National Park, with its towering trees and black-sand beaches…

Then Indiana Dunes, with its sprawling views of nuclear reactors…

Then Utah, home to some of the greatest countrywide parks in the region: I visited Capitol Reef, Bryce Canyon, and Zion.

Mountaineering the Canyons at Zion. I’d appreciate to do it all over again during the summer!

Just after Utah, I frequented Mammoth Cave (Kentucky) and Hot Springs (Arkansas), on the way to Austin, which is the place I stay now.

Then there was Significant Bend, Texas. The evening sky is remarkable there! You can see so quite a few stars.

Adopted by Petrified Forest in New Mexico…

And most a short while ago, Glacier (Montana) and Grand Teton (Wyoming). Glacier Nationwide Park reminded me of Switzerland with its alpine valleys, purple wildflowers, and jagged mountains. I even saw mountain goats.

I truly feel so fortunate that I’ve gotten to see so a great deal of our stunning region in the previous couple of decades.

When I was youthful, I targeted solely on international journey (this blog site isn’t known as Ashley Abroad for nothin’). But around the past two years, I’m satisfied to report that I’ve acquired a newfound appreciation for my individual backyard.

It turns out you never have to fly halfway all over the earth to go on an experience.

As for my beloved? It is a two-way tie amongst Redwood and Massive Bend.
