Critical Motion Superintendent Brian Rentsch reviewed the need to have for substitute bus motorists.

Discussion: Rentsch explained to the board there is a country-wide shortage of bus substitutes. “We are likely to be in a huge dilemma when our bus motorists start out to retire,” he mentioned.

Rentsch mentioned the probability of expanded routes or double busing, which he explained is done in other districts locally.

In other discussion, Rentsch pointed out that the district is acquiring 4 box vans on loan from Truck Income & Services for transferring during the future realignment.

OTHER Action

• Approved the resignation for retirement needs for Intermediate Principal Beth DiDonato.

• Accepted the 2022 graduating course.

• Utilized a record of summer months tutors for K-5, the center faculty and the substantial college.

• Employed substitute summer season custodians bus driver Mike Slorgie and Mary Jane Garan on a 1-calendar year contract.

• Non-renewed a few educating personnel associates.

• Accepted extensions on unpaid professional medical depart for two personnel.

• Authorised a list of 1- and two-12 months limited contracts, 5-12 months contracts and continuing contracts.

• Accredited a checklist of athletic supplemental contracts for the 2022-23 college 12 months like head coaches Chad Bonifant (women basketball), Gary Watkins (boys basketball) and Brian Duvall (bowling).

• Authorised agreement with the Ohio Flooring Enterprise for health club sanding and refinishing.

• Approved the arrangement with KidsLink College for the 2022-23 university year.

UP Future Future standard assembly will be June 27 at 6 p.m. at the administrative business.
