Daily Campello Art News: 2022 Exposed DC Photography Show

Uncovered DC Returns to Mount Nice for 16th Annual Pictures Show. That includes 38 photographs of the Washington, D.C. metro location taken by neighborhood photographers.

Show offered at Dropped Origins Outdoors in Mount Nice. The exhibition will be on look at at Missing Origins Exterior positioned along the exterior wall of Ellē restaurant at 3221 Mt Pleasurable St NW by July 24.

Opening celebration: Sunday, Might 29 from 3:00-6:00 p.m.

Best in Clearly show awards chosen by 5 distinguished nearby photographers. Five of the photos will obtain a Greatest in Display award together with a $100 dollars prize. These awards are chosen by impartial judges who are acclaimed photographers in the D.C. local community. This calendar year, they are Dee Dwyer, Andrew Harnik, Kenny Holston, Cheriss May possibly, and Michael McCoy picking out these exclusive awards.

I also liked Mike Landsman’s Million Moe March “Moechella” – a wonderful picture of the pure joy of childhood, Carol Stalun’s Soaring Tide, which is the most effective photo in the show working with a DMV landmark, and Sandra Kaufman’s superbly topical “Disconnected”, which desires little rationalization and claims it all about these young museum website visitors.
