‘Village Headmaster’ Back on Screen After 34 Years


Immediately after 34 a long time hiatus, popular Nigerian Television set clearly show “Village Headmaster” has now been repackaged and will be shown on 3 local tv stations.

The Director-Normal of Nigeria Television Authority (NTA), Mallam Yakubu Ibn Mohammed, disclosed on Friday at the relaunch and personal screening of the repackaged drama series in Abuja.

He reported the drama sequence would be shown on NTA each individual Sunday from 8.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m., Africa Impartial Television (AIT) each Wednesday from 9.00 p.m to 10.00 p.m. and WAP Tv each Friday from 8.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m.

Established in Oja, a fictitious Yoruba village, Ibn Mohammed claimed the collection is woven all over the lives of the villagers from royalty to the commoners, instruction and so in.

He recalled that prior to the sequence went off-display screen decades back, it captivated viewers and was addictive to lots of in individuals days.

The NTA boss stated the sequence was introduced back to reenact the characters and convey back the moral values, countrywide unity and cohesion it taught in all those times.
