Neighborhood farm arms more than 200 animals for evaluation

RENSSELAER COUNTY, N.Y. (Information10) —An investigation into the welfare of all over 200 animals commenced on Tuesday at a Rensselaer County farm on Hidley Highway just after a grievance was submitted involving animal neglect. North Greenbush Law enforcement and the Mohawk Hudson Humane Culture satisfied with the proprietors, and they made the decision to “voluntarily switch over” all of their domestic and farm animals for additional evaluation.

“We have a large amount of people that are really caring, quite worried about the welfare of these animals,” Marguerite Pearson, Director of Communications for Mohawk Hudson Humane Culture, mentioned.

The enterprise was a group energy given that mid-early morning to assess the effectively becoming of the animals—cats, canine, turkeys, cattle, pigs, and chickens—and take out them from the property. North Greenbush Police, the Mohawk Hudson Humane Culture, the Albany County Sheriff’s Office, and the Woodstock Farm Sanctuary ended up all existing to help.
